For years, the brand has been effortlessly presenting watches who surprise the most skeptics and turns dreams into reality. The Accessible Luxury motto lives through each Frederique Constant watch and makes owning a Swiss excellence-infused timepiece the simplest of tasks. With the latest Classics Index Automatic, Frederique Constant continues to prove that style and savoir-faire are but a heartbeat away.
Frederique Constant’s Classics line is fitted with FC-303 automatic movement and a 38-hour power reserve. The Navy blue or light grey dial is embellished with Guilloché decoration featuring hours, minutes, seconds and date opening at 3 o’clock. The watch is offered in polished stainless steel, 40 mm size either with a croco calf leather bracelet or with a polished stainless-steel bracelet for the Navy-blue stainless-steel model.
The first Heartbeat timepiece was launched in 1994 and quickly became an iconic signature of the brand. The purpose of the Heart Beat development was to show that these models were mechanical. With this in mind, the company added an aperture at the position of the balance wheel to show the beauty of the mechanical movement, of its “heartbeat”. At the time, this very innovative creation allowed Frederique Constant to demonstrate its watchmaking skills with clever ingenuity. Holding the FC-310 Heart Beat automatic movement, this timepiece showcases an elaborately decorated silver-colored dial, with its classic sunray Guilloché style and accentuated with traditional Roman numerals indexes. The emblematic aperture at 12 o’clock, signature of the Heart Beat timepieces reveals the escapement in continuous motion whereas the see-through back-case exposes the finely decorated movement. This extraordinary watch combines all the components of a high-end luxury timepiece while remaining extremely affordable for those who wish to enter the exclusive world of haute horlogerie.
