    Wonderful Watch

Posted by Ed R. from Oregon... the first state to host this year's total solar eclipse. on 26th Aug 2017

I have called all vendors on all inhabited planets everywhere, and have come to the conclusion that this is the greatest watch in the entire universe. But seriously, it is a terrific watch. It is more than tough enough to use when camping out last week for the solar eclipse, and its GPS time sensing ability means it keeps perfect time anywhere on this planet. It even knows what time zone you're in, and whether that zone switches between standard time and DST. It has an alarm which is easy to set, and a stop-watch feature (limited to 24 minutes) and a count-down feature. The nighttime led light, activated by pressing the A button, is incredibly bright so it's easy to read in the dark. The watch says it's 20 ATM "water resistant," and the literature says you shouldn't use it for SCUBA diving. I haven't tried this watch with SCUBA yet, but my old Casio also says it's 20 ATM "water resistant" and I've used it for more than ten years for SCUBA diving down below 120 feet -- with no problems ever! I hope this new Casio is equally fine down below. But the best part is its power. If you haven't experienced the joy of solar power, you should try this watch. No battery to change, and if its like my other solar-powered Casio, it'll run for six or more months without running down. Moreover, it only takes a day in sunlight to fully re-charge itself. (I usually prop my old Casio up on a chair facing the sun and come back after dark to get it. Then I'm good for another six months.) So I think this new Casio is the greatest watch in the entire universe. And I've made phone calls to prove it! P.S. Does anyone want to help me pay my phone bill?

Great Watch And A Great Buying Experience

Posted by Unknown on 1st Jun 2017

G-shocks are a lot like licorice. Not everyone likes them and people who like them like them very much. Even though I am a suit and tie professional and have some very nice upper end Swiss watches, nothing compares to a G-shock. They are accurate and can take a beating no other timepiece can. I was drawn to this watch because it is dressy and would perform all of the functions I need on a daily basis as well as when I travel. Additionally, with the DLC treatment of the case and band, this is a truly a suit and tie watch that you can bang on tables, door frames and the doors and bars of a jail that my profession dictates I visit. The atomic/GPS technology provide accuracy second to none and it is easy changing the time when you travel. You just push and hold one button. The size of the watch is perfect as well. Gary answered all of my questions and made the transaction pleasant and painless. My only criticism is the instruction manual which could cover a few more of the features of the watch. However, a call to Arizona Fine Time compensated for that deficiency.

The watch is everything that I thought it would be. Strong durable, and tough, but stylish. The customer service was great from the Arizona team, so overall this was a great buy and find.

    Fantastic G-shock!!!

Posted by Joe on 25th Apr 2016

I am a long-time collector of G-shocks, and have owned a large variety of models, including various Frogman models, the GPW-1000, the Rangeman, and many others. I wanted to own the top-of-the-line G-shock, and this MR-G is it!! The all-titanium construction is very nice, and I appreciate the DLC treatment on the case and band which should help to protect the black IP finish. This watch is the perfect g-shock for me for a dressier style watch - it is the perfect size, it is lightweight, it has essential functions with the latest tech, and it looks very very good. And given its black IP finish, it can look good with a suit or with more casual clothes including jeans and a t-shirt. And it has much more wrist presence than the typical Swiss automatic. This is a watch for the 21st century - and I love it!
