Mühle-Glashütte takes the SW 221-1 movement, and adds their own woodpecker neck regulation developed in 2003 in order to ensure accuracy in even the toughest conditions and environments. The woodpecker neck spring is designed to prevent the regulator arm from being able to move upwards by slotting into a semicircular depression in the regulator, making this piece almost completely shock proof, a resourceful feature regarded as very unique in the world of automatic watches.
The case is a combination of brushed and polished German Stainless Steel, and has an anti-glare coated sapphire crystal. Fitted with a stainless steel strap, and butterfly clasp, this piece also comes with an alternative blue textile band that gives the Zeigerdatum a completely separate appearance, and in a way, presenting itself as a completely separate timepiece altogether.
