Baselworld Release: New JeanRichard Terrascopes - GMT, Chrono Carbon, And 39mm Models

JeanRichard is adding quite a few models to it's Terrascope line-up this year, starting with the new Terrascope GMT. Made for the sophisticated global-traveler, the JeanRichard Terrascope GMT is a reliable partner for life's adventures in travel.  Equipped with a GMT complication, you can not only view your local time, but also allows you to view a secondary time zone.

The JeanRichard Terrascope will be available in three variations: blue, grey and classical black.  Each model features a polished and vertically satin finished stainless steel case. While the black and blue dial versions come with rhodium-coated suspended indexes, the grey version has black nickel suspended indexes. The GMT clock-hand is smaller in size and has a blue frame, giving it a clear distinction to the ones showing the local time zone. The high-precision timepiece is adjusted to be on the wrist of a Philosopher of Life who is constantly on the go and appreciates the comfort and subtlety of a well-fitted watch. In addition and to withstand any conditions on the road, the GMT Terrascope comes with a “Rubbergator“ strap in alligator appearance in either black, blue or brown and has a stainless steel folding buckle as a finishing touch.

The essential feature of this timepiece remains the self-winding JR62 mechanical movement, which lies at the heart of this watch and is viewable through a sapphire-crystal glass at the back of the watch.

Next up we have several new models of the JeanRichard Terrascope 39mm models. With its unique design and style that is both sporty and elegant, the Terrascope has emerged as a new watchmaking icon. It bears the hallmark of discovery, adventure and the desire to go one step further each time.

JEANRICHARD has adapted its iconic model for 2015 to a second 39 mm diameter with subtly reviewed proportions: perfect dimensions to dress any wrist, while keeping the strong presence and assertive character of this watch alive. The Terrascope 39 mm keeps the same highly original case with cushion-shape middle and round bezel while reinterpreting it to take advantage of new experiences across the globe. Its ingenious modular concept with sophisticated construction in several parts, allows materials and finishes of the different elements to be varied, giving each model a different personality – and thus meeting the tastes of everyday life's adventures.

Finally we come to the JeanRichard Carbon Chrono. This piece is limited to 200 pieces world wide and is water-resistant to 100 meters. It embodies lightness, practicality and innovation, made to ensure highest reliability and created by one of Switzerland’s most renowned watch manufactures.

Utilizing a unique, multi-layer carbon fiber case, a unidirectional engraved carbon fiber bezel, and carbon fiber composite pushers, this is a truly interesting watch. You will also find details such as a carbon fiber dial, black mat finished counters, applied rhodium coated indexes with luminescent material.
