Baselworld Release: Eberhard & Co. Tazio Nuvolari Edition Limitee 336 - 41033.01
For the first time, the Eberhard & Co. Tazio Nuvolari collection includes a timepiece that offers the reading of two different time zones. Keeping with it's racing background, The dual time is displayed with great simplicity and legibility to make the Tazio Nuvolari 336 a classic example.
The name of the model is inspired by the world speed record set by Tazio Nuvolari in 1935 on the Firenze-Mare Motorway, where he reached a top speed of 336 km/h on board of “Alfa Romeo 16C Twin-engine”.
The watch will be produced in a limited edition of 336 pieces, and uses a mechanical automatic-winding movement. The second time zone is displayed at 12 o’clock, while at 6 o’clock there is the indication of the power reserve. The date window is positioned at 3 o’clock.
The movement is housed in a large 45mm stainless steel case which, together with several red details, gives the Tazio Nuvolari 336 a striking look and a winning personality.
The watch is notable for its ceramic bezel made entirely by CNC milling, particularly thick at a side view for a three-dimensional effect accentuated by the hollowed hour markers.
The Dual Time function is regulated at the 10 o’clock position through a button characterized by an elongated shape and embellished with the driver’s initials.
The Tazio Nuvolari 336 is secured at the back by 8 screws with “perlée” finishing on the sloping edge. Waterproof to a depth of 100 meters, the model comes with a black alligator strap with red stitching and a buckle engraved with “E&Co.”.
