Citizen's Eco-Drive technology allows any light source to power their eco-friendly movements. A light-level indicator displays the intensity of the light striking the dial to help gauge the charging efficiency. It's a 1st for any solar powered watch. The F900 features an ultra-precise movement that is accurate to with +/- 5 seconds a month.

The F900's case is made from Citizen's proprietary "Super Titanium" material and coated in their own Duratect DLC material.  This provides the case resistance to scratches, light weight, resistance to rust all while being 5x the hardness of stainless steel.
