*2019* Casio G-Shock MR-G "GASSAN" MRG-G2000GA-1
STRENGTH, AND BEAUTY.
DISTINGUISHED PRESENCE BORN OF
Japanese swords express the strength and beauty behind the craftsman’s skill. The centre links on the band are finished by the swordsmith Sadanobu Gassan. Furthermore, the watch uses a COBARION® bezel in a motif that represents the beauty of form of a sword point, a recrystallised titanium case that recreates the feel of a tempered blade, and deep-violet-AIP® processing reminiscent of the traditional Japanese color of heated and hardened steel.
In every way, the watch displays a thorough craftsmanship resulting from the fusion of Japan’s respected traditional skills and the latest Casio technologies. The pinnacle of G-SHOCK is imbued with the qualities of a fine Japanese sword. This dignity is realized in a shock-resistant full-metal solar-powered G-SHOCK with Bluetooth®, GPS and radio-controlled, timekeeping installed.

Metal plate and serial number
The metal plate contains the inscription, “2019 LIMITED”. The case back also includes an inscribed serial number, indicating that the watch is one of 300 watches in the world.
Clad guard structure
The crown, buttons, and guard parts are integrated for improved shock resistance. α GEL has been inserted into the crown to absorb shocks. The prominent crown reinforces the impression of a powerful timepiece.
Note: αGEL is a registered trademark of Taica Corporation.
Deep hardening processing
Titanium is finished with heat to generate a layer of hardness on the surface. This increases the strength of the materials themselves.
3D hour index with phosphorescent inlays and multi-sided-cut hour and minute hands point out the dial’s impression of depth.
(ISO 764 standard-compliant)
Magnetically resistant plates are installed inside the module. This allows the watch to maintain its sensitivity to radio signals, while protecting the watch’s hands from stopping or shifting due to everyday magnetic fields.
