The history of Underwood can be traced all the way back to 1926, when Edgardo Rustioni the company founder first qualified as an “Artigiano Pellettiere”, a leather craftsman in the age-old tradition of Italian leather craftsmanship.

In the beginning the company specialized in handcrafted leather goods, producing leather desk accessories, jewelry boxes and a variety of gift items in leather all in the traditional style of Firenze. He continued to develop an extensive range of luxury leather goods and launched the “Underwood” brand.

The company is proud of its long tradition in high quality products for both its own label and for some of the world's most important brands such as: S.T. Dupont, Mont Blanc, Bulgari, Boucheron, Bucherer. Omega, Tiffany of New York and others.
