In 2009, Luminox created a 20th Anniversary series that now bears the name BLACK OPS CARBON Series 8800. This series demonstrates the brand's heritage: just as the original watch launched in 1989, it is made of a polymer compound, which has been reinforced over the years. The 8800 series is the ideal watch for the adventurer in all of us and perfect for any outdoorsman: it's fresh in design and tough in construction, with a high-tech, extra hard carbon-reinforced polymer used for the case and the unidirectional ratcheting bezel, a double-gasket crown and a water resistance of 200 meters.
