Introducing a new Gravity Defier variation featuring TRIPLE G RESIST construction that stands up to the forces of impact, vibration, and G forces, along with Smart Access capabilities that simplify operation. This is also the first Gravity Defier model to include a digital compass, thanks to the development of a direction sensor that is an amazing 95% smaller than its predecessors. The hand that indicates direction is made of carbon fiber, a first for a G-SHOCK watch.
MULTIBAND 6 allows pick up of six different time calibration signals around the globe. Of course, the time setting can be adjusted manually in areas where a signal is not receivable for some reason. Other features include a Tough Solar power system, sapphire crystal glass with anti-glare coating, and large buttons with anti-slip surfaces for easier operation. All of this plus a face layout designed for easy reading makes this model the perfect choice for aviators and anyone else who needs instant access to information while on the go.
• Wide face design
• Large electronic crown
• Carbon fiber second hand
• Metal band loop
Electronic crown switch and multi-motor construction together enable the intuitive operation of multiple functions and smooth display switching that are CASIO's unique analogue system.
TOUGH MOVEMENT is a CASIO-original thin analog movement that is packed with a host of amazing features and functions. Movement durability and integrity are ensured by hybrid mount construction to protect against damage and by auto hand home position correction to keep settings accurate.
Tough Solar ensures stable operation even when using power-hungry functions.
WAVE CEPTOR (RADIO CONTROLLED)
Receives time calibration signals and corrects the time automatically.
MULTIBAND 6 allows reception of time calibration signals from one of six transmitters around the globe : Germany, The United Kingdom, The United States, China, and Japan (two transmitters).
TRIPLE G RESIST
Designed to withstand the shock of three forces: Gravitational dropping forces, centrifugal gravitational force, and vibration. Unmatched toughness only from G-SHOCK
Triple G Resist
200-meter water resistance
Case / bezel material: Resin
Time calibration signal reception
Auto receive up to six* times a day (remaining auto receives canceled as soon as one is successful)
*5 times a day for the Chinese calibration signal
The latest signal reception results

CASIO's proprietary operating system employs Multi Mission Drive with an electronic crown switch to combine multi-functionality and operability.
A quick-lock mechanism is installed to enable easy locking and release of the crown switch. In addition to this improvement in operability, made possible by installation of a new triple click-stop rotation mechanism, the grip feel has been enhanced by combining metal and resin materials.
Users can stop, reset or restart measurements with just a press of the fly-back button. Higher measurement accuracy is assured.
World time city selection is a simple matter of pulling out and rotating the crown. Holding down a button displays UTC, the standard aviation time.
Adding further reliability to the radio-controlled, solar-powered chronograph.
The functions of the watch have made further evolutionary advances. Pushing the COMP button converts the second hand into a compass needle pointing north.
This tough structure is built to withstand 3 types of gravitational acceleration in the form of shocks, centrifugal force and vibrations.
A multi-layer structure has been adopted to ensure legibility of displayed information.
An aeroplane gauge motif adds a finishing touch to the tough aviation design.
Oversized buttons are installed to ensure a firm grip. Colouring is applied to the compass button to distinguish it more clearly from the other buttons.
This is the first CASIO watch to feature a lighter-weight, enlarged second hand constructed of Japan-made carbon fibre with low specific gravity. This results in an ability to display rapid hand movements during direction measurements.
Sapphire crystal’s properties, such as high scratch resistance and viewing clarity, provide durability and visibility. A glare-resistant coating is applied to the inner surface of the crystal.
